The Silver Atlantic 1 Hammered Textured Circular Drop Earrings are made by hand at the Studio here in Connemara beside the Atlantic Ocean.
They are made using a technique called folding, where we fold the Silver over and work on it with hammers. It is then opened up to become the finished earring.
Each piece and each set have a unique texture.
Here in the West of Ireland we are reminded daily of the weather as it is rarely stable. Winds blow virtually every day, seas are rarely calm, they are constantly changing the shape of the beach. Rocks get thrown against each other so every time you walk to the beach for relaxation and inspiration you get to see new rocks with new textures. Even patterns in the sand left by the waves or the foot prints of waders inspire textures to my Silver Jewellery when I return to the studio.
For your piece of mind and security I pack your purchase in a secure box and ship it to you using Registered Mail.
Our boxes are handmade from cardboard without any added paint, which is better for the environment.
