Sterling Silver Crab Shell Earrings
Inspired by the claw of a crab these Silver and Crab Shell Earrings have been worked with various hand tools to create the finish and desired texture before the Crab Shell is cemented to a silver post of the earring.
I cut the Crab Claw using a cutting disc on a dremil and the remaining piece will be used in another Pendant Design, nothing is wasted.
The Silver was cast from Recycled Silver and then worked with hammers and saws to get it to the thickness, shape and texture required. I've oxidised the Silver to give another dimension.
The shell has been given two coats of varnish to protect its natural hue.
The Crab used in this pendant comes from sustainable fisheries in the Wild Atlantic Ocean beside the studio.
Your earrings are packed securely in a wooden box made here in the studio and shipped with Track and Trace enabled.
